Hi, I’m Lisa
I am a lover of life — all of it!
In my 30 years working as an RN in trauma centers throughout the Denver area, I’ve seen the beautiful, the ugly, the simple, the complex, and the painful. I know just how precious and precarious our journey is.
Throughout my nursing career, I saw the shortcomings of Western medicine, or what I call “band-aid medicine.” This scientific, reactive approach treats the symptoms of a problem but does not address the underlying cause.
A few years ago, I stepped away from bedside nursing after losing my two oldest sons to addiction and suicide. As I navigated the Western medical system — this time as a patient — I became even more frustrated with how broken it truly is and I made the decision not to return to nursing in that realm.
Working through my grief, I sought integrative, somatic, whole body healing. Wellness that focuses on incorporating the mind, body, and spirit; a journey I will be on as long as I am in this earthly body.
As a healer, I am drawn to bringing these integrative health practices to others. Currently, I am back in school working on an art and integrative health degree and a life coaching certificate. I am a Master Reiki practitioner, sound healer, yoga instructor, and herbal apprentice.
I have an amazing wife, five beautiful children — two guiding me from the ethereal realm — and several four legged friends. I have a creative and curious spirit & I love making art. I create with many different mediums: paint, metal, paper, oils, and herbs. I feel most at home in nature, among the trees and the flowers, or with my feet in a body of water.
I am so grateful our paths have crossed. I can’t wait to work with you on your wellness journey!
Peace & Love
