Hi, I’m Lisa
I am a lover of life — every aspect of it.
Over my 30 years as an RN in trauma centers across the Denver area, I have witnessed life in all its forms: the beautiful, the ugly, the simple, the complex, and the painful. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for how precious and precarious our journeys truly are. Yet, while working within the Western medical system, I often felt a disconnect. While it excels as a fix-it system for the body, it falls short of addressing the whole person; mind, body, and spirit.
A few years ago, I stepped away from bedside nursing after the profound loss of my two eldest sons to addiction and suicide. Navigating the Western medical system as a patient myself was eye-opening. I became acutely aware of how fragmented and challenging it can be for individuals to find the care they truly need.
Through my grief, I sought integrative, somatic, whole-body healing. Wellness that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit; a journey I will be on as long as I am inhabit this earthly body.
As a healer, I feel deeply called to share these integrative health practices with others. I am a RN Healthcare Navigator, Master Reiki practitioner, sound healer, yoga instructor, and herbal apprentice.
I’m blessed with an amazing wife, five beautiful children—two of whom now guide me from the ethereal realm—and a house full of furry companions. Creativity and curiosity fuel my spirit. I love making art using various mediums, including paint, metal, paper, oils, and herbs. Nature is my sanctuary; I feel most at peace among trees and flowers or with my feet in a body water.
I’m so grateful our paths have crossed and I look forward to working with you on your wellness journey.
Peace & love,
Lisa
